The Rustic Interior
the farm “Oliveto dei monti” is a single farmhouse of 120 square meters, over two floors, located on the hills of Cerveteri.
the great thing about this farm is that it is a single house at your disposal, equipped with everything, with use of the kitchen and the garden, and no one will disturb you.
the decor, simple and rustic, wants to preserve the nature of the place: the floors are tiled, doors, windows and furniture are made of wood, the beds and the lights are in wrought iron, the ceilings have exposed wooden beams.
on the ground floor there is a kitchen with a fireplace and table where you can eat in six, a large living room consists of living room and dining room with fireplace, a double bedroom with views over the olive grove and a bathroom with a ceiling of bricks at a time.
upstairs two bedrooms, one double and one twin bedroom, plus one extra bed for a child, each with its own bathroom and a beautiful view over the olive grove and the sea.
during the summer months at home is always fresh because of the thick walls and outside, being in the hills, the heat is never excessive, there is often a pleasant breeze

The olive trees and the forest
the Farm “Oliveto dei monti” is a rustic farmhouse of the early ’900, completely renovated, surrounded by an olive grove and forest. The place is ventilated and quiet, in the countryside, isolated from the other houses that can be seen only in the distance. Located on a hills, it offers an impressive views of the mountains and the sea.
the farm exists on a farm of 80 hectares, where 7 hectares are of olive groves, the rest is mostly forest with vegetation typical of the Mediterranean such as oak, holm oak, mastic.
the olive grove consists of 300 ancient plants that produce a rare cultivars of olive oil. Both the land and the trees do not undergo chemical treatments. The olive harvest takes place mainly by hand, according to tradition; the oil, which follows the organic sector and makes use of the brand Mediterranean Institute of Certification, is sold by the company and is renowned for its quality throughout Cerveteri.
a few hundred meters from the house, there is a path that leads to a private forest that climbs towards the mountains, where you can walk or ride a bike, and discover the countryside from the wild and unspoilt beauty. The forest is part of the Special Protection Area, a reserve, where there is a rich fauna and happens to see porcupines, foxes, badgers, wild boars, falcons, eagles, pheasants, hoopoe, robins, magpies and many other species.
