The cottage has its own private parking area and entrance. The cottage is situated within a country location though is only two minutes’ drive from the village of Martinchel, which has several cafes, restaurants, mini-market and bakers. Castelo de Bode Lake, which is popular for all kinds of water sport including fishing, swimming, waterskiing, sailing and scuba diving, is only five minutes’ drive from the cottage. The larger towns of Tomar and Abrantes are equal distances from the property, taking around 15 minutes in a car. The village of Constância, which has restaurants, supermarket, banks, cafes, promenades, cinema, library and shops, is around 10 minutes’ drive.

The cottage is easy to locate and has good access links to the a23 east west dual carriageway. The closest airport to the cottage is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a quarter hours' by car.

Various additionnal information:
A recently reconstructed two bedroom country cottage available for both short term holiday and long term let near Castelo de Bode Lake in central Portugal. The cottage, which has been restored to a high level, is fully double glazed with traditional style exterior shutters and is offered for rent fully furnished. The cottage is set over two floors and is situated in a peaceful area with good views over the countryside. The cottage provides ample living accommodation for either short term holiday lets or longer term living.

the cottage has an open plan living room and kitchen with a tiled floor. There is a traditional style Salamander log burner which provides sufficient heat for the entire cottage during the winter months. There is a television, dvd player and selection of games for the pleasure of guests. The kitchen is fully fitted and has a good range of purpose built wooden base and eye level units. The work surfaces are granite and the kitchen appliances are integral.

there is an electric oven, four ring gas hob, extractor fan and a low level fridge with ice box as well as a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, a juice maker and kettle. The cottage also has a washing machine which is housed in an adjacent building with ironing and drying facilities. The bathroom is situated off the living room and is partially tiled. The bathroom has a traditional style wooden beamed ceiling and there is a shower, toilet and pedestal sink. There are two bedrooms, which are situated on the first floor. The first floor accommodation is accessed via a wooden staircase. There is a spacious and light double bedroom. This room is fully furnished with double bed, wardrobes chests of drawers and bedside cabinet. The second bedroom is a twin room with two single beds, wardrobes, chests of drawers and bed side cabinet.

the cottage has several private exterior patio areas and use of the large walled garden with a barbecue.
