A real taste of French rural life

If you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable break in the heart of rural France, then this gite will be perfect for you. The owners are very welcoming and have ensured that the gite has absolutely everything that you will need for your stay.Although it is situated in the heart of the countryside, it is not too isolated. The village is within a cycle ride and supermarkets, shops, restaurants and markets are only a 15 minute car ride. Larger towns, like Niort, La Rochelle and Poitiers are very well worth visiting for shopping and exploring many places of historical interest. The coast is not all that far away and the large canal area, the Marais, provides opportunities for walking and boat trips. There is so much to see and do! We will certainly return to this gite next year.
